      Age Requirements
      At this location the minimum age is 21 for all car groups, except for the following: minimum age is 25 for car groups F (Intermediate SUV), G (Premium), H (Luxury), K (Convertible), L (Premium SUV), V (Mini Van) and W (Standard SUV). An Under Age fee will apply to drivers between the ages of 21 and 24. The Under Age fee is $25.00 CAD per day.
      e-Tolls
      Please be aware of roads that maybe "cashless tolls" and drivers on these roads are not able to pay cash once they have entered these roads. You automatically opt into our e-Toll service program and will be charged $17.00 plus GST/HST per rental, plus incurred tolls at the maximum prevailing rates posted by the toll authority. The charges may take 4-8 weeks after the rental to be billed to your credit card/debit card on file
      Additional Driver Policy
      Additional drivers must meet the same requirements as the primary driver. Additional Driver fees may apply for all additional drivers. Check at the time of rental for complete details.

      DRIVERS CIRCLE Airport Terminal Instructions DRIVERS CIRCLE When you arrive, go to the Budget counter in the baggage claim area. The manager or key person will have your contract ready and personally escort you to your vehicle. Valet Return: If offered, you will be told about our service as you are escorted to your car. FASTBREAK SERVICE Airport Terminal - Counter Location Proceed to the Budget counter Fastbreak line/or normal line if no Fastbreak line designation/or follow directions to the Fastbreak Kiosk. Present identification and receive your rental agreement. The counter representative will give the customer the keys & directions to their car. FASTBREAK RETURN: Follow the airport signs for Car Rental return. You do not need to return to the counter to complete your rental. Record your mileage and fuel level on the rental agreement and drop it in the Budget Fastbreak return box. A closed rental agreement will be mailed to you within 48 hours. *GENERAL DIRECTIONS* Airport Terminal Instructions COUNTER: Located in the main terminal, by the baggage claim area. CARS: Vehicles located on the terminals main parking lot. RETURNS: Return to airport terminal main parking lot. AFTERHOURS: Drop keys in slot on top of the rental counter.
      Drivers License
      At the time of rental, the driver must present a valid drivers license in the drivers name. Licenses required by issuing province to rent a vehicle are: Manitoba requires Class 5 Full (F), New Brunswick requires Class 7 (level 2 only) and Class 5, Ontario requires Class G & G2 and all other provinces require Class 5. NOTE: Customers presenting a drivers license in a non-roman alphabet must also present an International Driving Permit (IDP) in addition to their valid drivers license.
      Towing
      Towing is not permitted. Vehicles cannot be used to tow or push anything. A trailer hitch cannot be installed on the vehicles.
      Fuel Policy
      The vehicle must be returned with a full tank of gas or there will be a charge for refueling. Most locations offer a prepaid gas option which you can accept at the rental location. If the vehicle is driven less than 125 kilometers there may be an additional refueling fee, unless a gas receipt is presented at time of return. The customer can check at the time of rental for complete details.
      Additional Fees
      Winter Tires are mandatory on certain roads or the renter/driver may be ticketed by RCMP. QUEBEC - It is mandatory that all vehicles registered in the province of Quebec be equipped with winter tires during the winter months of December through March. All rentals will be charged a daily Tire Management Fee up to 4.50 CAD per day for year-round tire maintenance. The fee is subject to concession recovery fees, GST and QST. ALL OTHER PROVINCES - Winter tire equipped vehicles maybe available in the winter season for reservations at some locations. An additional fee up to 20.00 CAD per day will apply. Fees vary by location and car group.
      Credit Card Policies
      Budget accepts most major credit cards as credit identification at the time of rental. Accepted credit card list: Budget Charge Card, Budget International, American Express, Diner's Club, Diner's Club Int'l, Discover, JCB, MasterCard, Optima and Visa. Some locations may not accept each of the referenced cards. At the time of rental, a hold of $750.00 CAD or estimated rental charges plus 20%, whichever is greater, is placed on the credit card.
      Public Liability and Property Damage

Customer may inquire for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance at the time of rental. Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles. The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental.       Travel Into Other Countries
      Allowed with written permission from Budget office only. Check with the rental counter for details. If the rate quoted has unlimited kilometers, they will be available for travel within British Columbia and Alberta only. If traveling outside of these areas the unlimited kilometers will not apply, instead kilometers will be charged at 200 free kilometers per day, 1400 free kilometers per week, 5000 free kilometers per month. Charge of $.16 CAD per each additional kilometer over the free kilometers allowed. MAXIMUM 5000 kilometers allowed per rental agreement.
      Optional Coverages
      Acceptance of the Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) reduces the renters and authorized additional drivers financial responsibility to ZERO for all car groups excluding groups F and W to $1000.00 CAD, if the car is damaged or stolen while under rental contract. . Using the vehicle in violation of any of the use restrictions listed on the rental agreement could void LDW and leave the renter fully responsible for any damage to the vehicle. At the time of rental, the customer must initial whether he/she accepts or declines the LDW and/or other optional services. LDW and other optional services must be signed for at the rental counter. If LDW is not accepted, customer's may be responsible for up to the full fair market value of the car if it is damaged, vandalized or stolen during the rental. Customer's may also be responsible for reimbursing Budget for the revenue lost by not being able to use the car while it is being repaired or not recovered due to theft (loss of use). Partial Loss Damage Waiver (PDW) is available at certain rental locations to relieve the renter of the first $1,000 CAD of the loss of, or damage to, the Budget car. All inquiries regarding PDW availability and cost should be referred to the rental location. Canceling LDW/PDW Once LDW/PDW has been purchased, it must remain on the contract. The customer has the option to return the car & close the rental agreement; however, this could change the rate for the rental agreement and a different, possibly higher, rate could apply for a new rental. Loss of Use The customer may also be responsible for reimbursing Budget for the revenue lost by not being able to use the car while it is being repaired or not recovered due to theft (referred to as Loss of Use).
