      Age Requirements
      At this location the minimum age is 21 for all car groups, except for the following: minimum age is 25 for car groups H (Luxury), L (Premium SUV), P (Full Size Van), V (Mini Van), X (Special) and Z (Full Size SUV). An Under Age fee will apply to drivers between the ages of 21 and 24. The Under Age fee is $20.00 CAD per day.
      e-Tolls
      Please be aware of roads that maybe "cashless tolls" and drivers on these roads are not able to pay cash once they have entered these roads. You automatically opt into our e-Toll service program and will be charged $17.00 plus GST/HST per rental, plus incurred tolls at the maximum prevailing rates posted by the toll authority. The charges may take 4-8 weeks after the rental to be billed to your credit card/debit card on file
      Additional Driver Policy
      Additional drivers must meet the same requirements as the primary driver. Additional Driver fees may apply for all additional drivers. Check at the time of rental for complete details.

      DRIVERS CIRCLE Airport Terminal Instructions DRIVERS CIRCLE Follow signs for "car rental", once outside the terminal follow walk way to the exterior parking located on the ground level floor. As you enter the multilevel exterior parking lot, follow signs to the Rent a Car Building. Upon entering the building you will see the counter in front of you. Valet Return: If offered, you will be told about our service as you are escorted to your car. After hours return to same location. FASTBREAK SERVICE Airport Terminal - Counter Location Proceed to the Budget counter Fastbreak line/or normal line if no Fastbreak line designation/or follow directions to the Fastbreak Kiosk. Present identification and receive your rental agreement. The counter representative will give the customer the keys & directions to their car. FASTBREAK RETURN: Follow the airport signs for Car Rental return. You do not need to return to the counter to complete your rental. Record your mileage and fuel level on the rental agreement and drop it in the Budget Fastbreak return box. A closed rental agreement will be mailed to you within 48 hours. *GENERAL DIRECTIONS* Airport Terminal Instructions COUNTER: Follow signs for "car rental."       Drivers License
      At the time of rental, the driver must present a valid drivers license in the drivers name. All customers must also present a second form of ID. Please refer to the Required Credentials topic for details. Licenses required by issuing province to rent a vehicle are: Manitoba requires Class 5 Full (F), New Brunswick requires Class 7 (level 2 only) and Class 5, Ontario requires Class G & G2 and all other provinces require Class 5. NOTE: Customers presenting a drivers license in a non-roman alphabet must also present an International Driving Permit (IDP) in addition to their valid drivers license.
      Towing
      Towing is not permitted. Vehicles cannot be used to tow or push anything. A trailer hitch cannot be installed on the vehicles.
      Fuel Policy
      The vehicle must be returned with a full tank of gas or there will be a charge for refueling. Most locations offer a prepaid gas option which you can accept at the rental location. If the vehicle is driven less than 125 kilometers there may be an additional refueling fee, unless a gas receipt is presented at time of return. The customer can check at the time of rental for complete details.
      Additional Fees
      Winter Tires are mandatory on certain roads or the renter/driver may be ticketed by RCMP. QUEBEC - It is mandatory that all vehicles registered in the province of Quebec be equipped with winter tires during the winter months of December through March. All rentals will be charged a daily Tire Management Fee up to 4.50 CAD per day for year-round tire maintenance. The fee is subject to concession recovery fees, GST and QST. ALL OTHER PROVINCES - Winter tire equipped vehicles maybe available in the winter season for reservations at some locations. An additional fee up to 20.00 CAD per day will apply. Fees vary by location and car group.
      Credit Card Policies
      Budget accepts most major credit cards as credit identification at the time of rental. Accepted credit card list: Budget Charge Card, Budget International, American Express, Diner's Club, Diner's Club Int'l, Discover, JCB, MasterCard, Optima and Visa. Some locations may not accept each of the referenced cards. At the time of rental, a hold of $500.00 CAD or estimated rental charges plus 20%, whichever is greater, is placed on the credit card.
      Public Liability and Property Damage
      CAD 50,000 per accident. Liability insurance limits are subject to change by provincial law. Note: Public Liability stays with car/renter regardless of what country they drive in. Primary Minimum coverage is included in all rates at no additional charge. All Budget cars are not to be driven on unpaved roads (like gravel, dirt, etc.).
      Required Credentials
      For vehicle Groups: F (Intermediate), G (Premium), H (Luxury), K (Convertible), P (Full Size Pickup), W (Standard), L (Full Size SUV), Z (Premium SUV) and all Group X (Specialty Vehicles). At locations in Canada, you may be asked to provide an additional form of identification as a condition to rent a vehicle. Acceptable forms of additional identification are: Military ID Certificate of Indian Status Canadian passport Canadian Permanent Resident Card Foreign passport that meets the requirements Nexus or Fast/Express card Non-driver's license issued by a province or territory ID card issued by the federal government, provincial or territorial government Credit card (other than the one being used for payment of rental) in Customer's name
      Travel Into Other Countries
      Vehicles at this location can be driven throughout the Canadian Provinces with no restrictions. Based on availability; One-way rentals may be allowed to some Canadian cities. Vehicles at this location can be driven throughout the continental US with no restrictions. Based on availability; One-way rentals may be allowed to some US cities. Vehicles at this location are not allowed to travel into Alaska. One-way rentals are also not permitted. Vehicles at this location are not allowed to travel into Mexico. One-way rentals are also not permitted.
      Optional Coverages
      Acceptance of the Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) reduces the renters and authorized additional drivers financial responsibility to between 250.00 CAD and 2500.00 CAD depending on car group confirmed, if the car is damaged or stolen while under rental contract. Using the vehicle in violation of any of the use restrictions listed on the rental agreement could void LDW and leave the renter fully responsible for any damage to the vehicle. Partial Loss Damage Waiver (PDW) is available at certain rental locations to relieve the renter of the first $1,000 CAD of the loss of, or damage to, the Avis car. All inquiries regarding PDW availability and cost should be referred to the rental location. All Avis cars are not to be driven on unpaved roads (like gravel, dirt, etc.). If LDW is not accepted, the customer is financially responsible for the full value of the car if: Accident damage Glass damage Vandalism Theft of the car Stolen items such as radio, battery, etc. Customers may also be responsible for reimbursing Budget for the revenue lost by not being able to use the car while it is being repaired or not recovered due to theft (loss of use). Global insurance coverages are always subject to change. Please verify at time of rental.

      Debit cards are not accepted at time of rental at this location. A debit card can be used to pay for the rental at the time of car return.
